John Wrenn is the senior vice president of wealth management at the Wrenn/Ferguson Group at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Portland, Oregon. He specializes in college savings plans. Wrenn is also an investment consultant for the U.S. Bank trust and estate department, formerly vice-chair of Oregon's College Saving Plan board, a major contributor to Lucky529, a website that teaches children about saving and investing, and the author of an investment book for children, Lucky the Golden Goose (Red Truck Publishing, 1999). He has a B.A. from Oregon State University in Corvallis.
